Pierre Cardin Info:
Cardin moved to Paris in 1945. There, he studied architecture and worked with the elite fashion houses and became head of Christian Dior's tailleure atelier in 1947. Beginning in the 1970s, Cardin set another new trend: "mod chic". This trend holds true for the form or for a combination of forms, which did not exist at the time. These creations allowed for the geometric shapes that captivated him to be contrasted, with both circular and straight lines.
