These small exquisite cufflinks are genuine Japanese Damascene, created by the renowned Amita Jewelry Company of Kyoto. Crafted on non-precious base metals with delicate inlays of 18K or 24K gold, they embody a rich tradition dating back to the Nara period (710–794 A.D.).

Intricate, hand-worked design:
Each piece features an ornate fan shape with a traditional blackened scene.
The delicate motifs are inlaid with 24K gold into the base metal,
showcasing the meticulous artistry of skilled artisans.

Cuff Link Dimensions:
Fan portion: 7/8 inch by 5/8 inch
Attached oval half: embedded with the mark, K24
and it measures: 5/8 inch by 1/4 inch

Markings and authenticity:
Backs are clearly stamped “JAPAN”,
with the “K24” hallmark on the oval half confirming the gold inlay.
